Anthony Hinojosa
Cowboy Artist
Anthony Hinojosa was born on January 26, 1970 in Laredo, Texas. From an early age Anthony began formal instruction at Chula Vista Academy of Fine Arts in Corpus Christi, Texas. While attending he read a magazine article that would change his young life.
A young horsewoman named Nancy Keim was featured as a Jockey and an Artist. He was so inspired by the article, he modeled his own career path after hers.
Anthony rode his first winner on June 14, 1984 and exercised racehorses until he was 37.
A life threatening morning training accident in 2007 finally ended his riding pursuits. As a result, Art became a full – time endeavor.
During his lifetime Anthony has participated in all Cowboy riding events and ranch Cowboying. He proudly served his Country in operation Desert Storm as an Infantryman.
A strong belief and faith in God has seen him through life’s rough spots.
